Story
Every journey through the Forgotten Archive is a journey inward. These are the chapters of Kori's truth — fragmented, painful, and waiting to be pieced together.
The Awakening
A child opens their eyes in a place that shouldn't exist. The walls are white. Too white. There is no sound except a faint hum — like static trying to become music. On the floor, etched in light, three words: Find the Key.
mood: silence, confusion, wonder
The First Steps
Kori moves through the White Room. Each step echoes strangely, as if the room is listening. A door appears — not opens, appears — and behind it, a street that shouldn't be empty but is. The air smells like old paper and forgotten rain.
mood: isolation, curiosity, unease
Light in the Static
In the middle of Silent Street, something flickers. A shape made of light and noise — warm despite being impossible. It speaks: "Oh! Someone's here. I've been waiting so long I forgot what waiting felt like." Lumi. A companion born from the Archive's own loneliness.
mood: warmth, companionship, relief
The Masked Stranger
Nox appears without warning. One moment the corridor is empty, the next — a figure in a mask, watching. "You're looking for something," they say. Not a question. "Everyone who comes here is. But not everyone should find what they're looking for." Then silence. Then gone.
mood: mystery, distrust, dread
Broken Files
The deeper parts of the Archive are damaged. Files float in the air — memories that belong to no one, or to everyone. Some are corrupted beyond recognition. Others show fragments: a birthday cake, a rainy window, hands holding something precious. Are these Kori's memories? Or someone else's?
mood: melancholy, discovery, doubt
The Shadow
It appears first as a reflection that moves wrong. Then as a silhouette in doorways. Then face to face — a dark version of Kori. Same height. Same posture. But where Kori's eyes are cyan, Echo's are void. "...you forgot me," Echo whispers. "That's okay. I'm used to being forgotten."
mood: dread, recognition, sorrow
The Core
At the center of everything, the Keeper waits. Ancient. Patient. Knowing. The truth about Kori, about the Archive, about why memories were forgotten in the first place — it all lives here. But truth comes with a choice. And every choice has a cost.
mood: revelation, sacrifice, acceptance
FOUR POSSIBLE ENDINGS
Your choices shape the ending. Not all paths lead to the truth.
